The inaugural program, which was virtual, connected Yale faculty, residents, and students from Neurosurgery and Psychiatry with six students from Meharry Medical College. The program's ultimate goal is to create a pipeline for Yale to attract students from underrepresented groups as medical residents. She stays active through dance and water sports when she gets the chance. Beale indulges her creative side through nail art, photography, hair styling, and general crafting. She is also interested in a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She completed PGY2 at Meharry Medical College. Beale went on to complete an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwell Health North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She returned home to complete a pre-medical post-baccalaureate at Hofstra University and received her Doctorate of Medicine degree at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Beale, originally from Queens, NY, completed her undergraduate training at Wellesley College where she received a bachelor of arts in French and Women's and Gender Studies.
